SPARZANZA Replaces ANTHRAX At Finland's QSTOCK Festival
July 23, 2009Karlstad, Sweden-based metal/rock band SPARZANZA has replaced ANTHRAX on the billing of Qstock festival, set to take place July 24-25 in Oulu, Finland. SPARZANZA will perform on July 24 at 8 p.m.

SPARZANZA recently released a split seven-inch EP with German rockers GRAND MASSIVE. The SPARZANZA songs on the EP are "Red Dead Revolver" from the band's fourth CD, "In Voodoo Veritas", and the previously unreleased track "Hollow". The EP is strictly limited and is available at the SPARZANZA online shop, at gigs and from Daredevil Records.
"In Voodoo Veritas" was released in Finland on April 8 via Black Cult/Kabuki Records.
SPARZANZA recently announced the addition of guitarist Magnus Eronen (MOANING WIND, SPACE PROBE TAURUS, CAPRICORN) to the group's ranks. Eronen joined SPARZANZA as the replacement for David Johannesson, who quit the band last year to join MUSTASCH.

SPARZANZA's third CD, "Banisher of the Light", was released in March 2007 via Black Cult Records. The album included the song "Dead Rising", featuring an appearance by THE HAUNTED frontman Peter Dolving.
Dolving previously worked with SPARZANZA as the group's producer.
